Consultants, Managers and Organizations willing to start a recruitment service in Nigeria are required by the Labor Act Cap 198 LFN 1990 (Sections 23, 24, 25 and 71) to apply for registration and obtain the Recruiter’s License/Employer’s Permit from the Federal Ministry of Labor.

StreSERT has been duly registered and licensed by the Ministry to function as a Recruiting and Private Employment Agency.


DEPARTMENT OF PETROLEUM RESOURCES (DPR)

The department of petroleum resources is the regulatory agency responsible for supervising the petroleum industry. StreSERT is licensed under the Department of Petroleum Resources to operate as an Oil Industry Service Company to provide Consultancy Services, Training and Manpower Development.

The Industrial Training Fund (ITF) was established in 1971 with the vision to be the foremost skills training and development organization in Nigeria and one of the best in the world. ITF regulates training standards and offers direct training intervention in industrial and commercial skills training. ITF has operated consistently and painstakingly within the context of its enabling laws; Decree 47 of 1971 as Amended in the 2011 ITF ACT. StreSERT Services Limited is dully registered with Industrial Training Fund.

The Nigeria Social Insurance Trust Fund is the body that regulates and administers the Employee Compensation Scheme. The Scheme is designed to provide compensation to employees who either sustain injuries from accidents at the workplace, or suffer from occupational diseases in the course of employment whether at the usual place of work or outside it. StreSERT complies strictly with the requirement to remit employee compensation premiums to NSITF on a monthly basis.

The Centre for Management Development (CMD) was established in 1976 to address all aspects of human power development in Nigeria. It is a learning and resource centre anchored by National Council for Management Development (NCMD). StreSERT Services Limited is registered and accredited as a Training institution by the Centre.


logo6| NATIONAL HEALTH INSURANCE SCHEME (NHIS)

The scheme established under ACT 35 of 1999 by the Federal Government, is aimed at providing easy access to healthcare for all at an affordable cost through various prepayment systems. The NHIS is the sovereign body for Health Maintenance Organizations (HMO) duly registered by the scheme solely to manage the provision of health care services through health care facilities accredited by the scheme. In line with statutory regulations, StreSERT ensures that all its employees are registered with our partnering HMOs.


logo7  | THE PENSION REFORM ACT
The Pension Act established the National Pension Commission (PENCOM) as the body to regulate, supervise and ensure the effective administration of pension matters in Nigeria. The Pension Reform Act also makes it mandatory for all employers of labor having up to five employees to maintain a Group Life Assurance Policy. The policy provides for the payment of sum assured in the event of the death of an employee from any cause, natural or accidental. StreSERT is in compliance with the regulation under the Pension Act to remit pension and also provide Group life cover through designated insurance companies for employees.
